Two Months!

Noah and Micah turned 2 months old on August 1st! It's sometimes hard to believe that two months have already passed since they were born. Other times, we look at pictures from the early days and wonder at how tiny they both were just weeks ago.  The boys are constantly getting chubbier, more alert, and, if possible, cuter.  We are now rewarded with smiles and coos when we give the boys kisses and tickles. Both Noah and Micah have good neck strength and control for their age, and strong legs that let them "crawl" during tummy time if you support their feet. We are lucky that the boys aren't very fussy and keep their crying to a minimum. They have also begun grunting less in their sleep, it seems, though maybe we are just better at blocking out their noises. The boys are starting to go on more adventures outside of the house during the week with mommy. A favorite destination is the Chick-Fil-A in Walnut Creek! 

We had their two month check-up with Dr. Schiffman yesterday, and everyone was impressed with their growth. Micah weighed in at 13 pounds, 9 ounces, which is 7 pounds above his birth weight! He measured 23.25 inches tall. Noah remains smaller than his little brother, but has also gained good weight. He weighed 12 pounds, 14.5 ounces, and measured 23.125 inches tall. This puts both boys at or above the 50th percentile for weight and height. I didn't catch their head circumferences, but those were also around the 50th percentile.
