Mid-January Updates

The boys are 7.5 months old now, and I would say things are very consistent now with the routine. The biggest change over the last two weeks has been their ability and desire to sit up. This means that they have graduated from their infant tub and into a cute inflatable ducky tub. I was hoping that they would both fit in it so we could bathe them at the same time, but they're too big. Oh well! They are starting to eat more food, and we are going to start them on breakfast in a couple of days. Exciting. We're also feeding them dinner at the dining table now, instead of in their little chairs. We (Mitch and Natalie) are still eating dinner after the boys go to sleep at 7:30, but maybe this will change in the coming weeks/months so we have our meal together at 6.

We're still waiting for their first teeth to pop up. Norma says that she thinks it will happen soon for Noah, as his gums seem swollen and she thinks she sees a tooth below the surface of his bottom gum. Hopefully, the babies won't be too fussy when their teeth do arrive! There have been a couple of nights where Micah's woken up crying, and seemed to calm down after we gave him some teething gel. Otherwise, the boys sleep a solid 11.5 hours straight each night, and we are loving this luxury.

The boys have been getting out of the house more during the week with Norma. This week, they went to a park, met up with some other twins at the library for baby story time, and then went to Children's Fairyland. Busy boys! I think they enjoy getting out of the house, and definitely like getting fresh air on walks or at the parks. There are just enough breaks in the rain to make these things possible!

That's about it for this update. Lots of photos below. :)
