It has been a fun first half of December for the boys. They went on their first plane ride, slept in their first hotel room, ate out for dinner two nights in a row, tried homemade baby food (thanks to their nanny)...all while becoming more and more interactive, curious, and vocal. They love testing their voices and hearing the sounds that come out of their mouths. A lot of "whoa"s and "yay"s, and some "ba"s and "ma"s. Not too much to report, honestly. The boys go back and forth with sleeping 7 pm - 7 am, and with having one night waking but no night feedings. We think the night wakings are due to a combination of developmental milestones on the horizon and teething, but who can really ever know for sure. We're just doing our best to train the boys to go back to sleep since they go down for bed just fine. They wake up smiling and laughing every morning, so that makes hearing them cry a little at night less worrisome. It's harder for us than for them, I think!
