Logan's 8 and 9 Month Photos
Miss Logan is now 9+ months, and I haven't gotten around to posting her 8 month update...Some things just don't get done when you've got two 3 year olds and a baby (and full time work). Anyway, here is a brief summary of Logan these days.
Eating:
Logan still drinks breastmilk from a bottle a few times a day, and nurses after I am home from work. She also has firmly established her love for "solids" in the form of mom-made vegetable purees, store-bought fruit/veggie puree pouches, and finger foods, like puffs, teething wafers, and cheerios. She has also tried some small pieces of food from our meals, like bread and chicken. She seems to enjoy chicken, and I think we'll let her try some rice and cut up pasta soon.
Sleeping:
Logan naps twice a day, at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm, for usually 2 hours at a time. She goes to bed at 8:30 pm and wakes up between 8 and 8:30 am. She likes to sleep with a lovey muslin blanket-the same ones we used with the boys. We recently lowered her crib to the lowest setting since she's getting close to pulling up to stand and is quasi-crawling and sitting up on her own now.

Developments:
Logan has two bottom teeth now, and has been growing longer and longer while maintaining her 23+ pounds. At her 9 month check-up, she weighed 23 pounds and 2 oz and was 29 inches long, both of which put her at the 99th percentiles for her age. She has started to crawl a little bit here and there, and is pretty good at dragging/army-crawling to wherever she wants to go. She usually likes to go to the edge of the area rugs and to see the toys her big brothers are playing with. Logan is also starting to "talk" more and miiiight have said her first meaningful word, "dada." She is also becoming more vocal with her dislikes, and will protest sitting in her high chair or being put on the floor or in her jumper if that's not where she wants to be.
Overall:
Logan is a wonderfully happy baby who is getting more curious about the world, and more interesting to her brothers, Noah and Micah. We are all enjoying getting to know her personality more.
