First Day of Preschool!

We decided early on to get the boys in preschool for the 2's year, just to get them more socialized...and also to make sure they would get a spot for their 3's and 4's year at our preferred preschool in Davidson. We were happy to get them both into a Tuesday/Thursday class, which will meet from 9 am - 12:30 pm each week. Their classroom is actually the same room where Noah and Micah go when we attend church occasionally, so they are quite familiar with all the toys...and also the fact that we leave them when we go to that room. Needless to say, there were tears at Welcome Day yesterday, and at drop-off today. Still, as we got to meet their teachers and play with some toys yesterday, the boys calmed down and even had a little fun. Noah also gave one of his teachers a good-bye kiss yesterday, which was totally unexpected.

For their first official day of preschool today, we did drop-off as a family, and the boys were quite calm about the whole thing. They did start crying when we handed them off to their teachers, but I feel confident that drop-off will be much easier after another week or two.
