Noah and Micah are Two!
A few weeks ago, our little munchkins turned two years old! It has been a busy time for everyone. In fact, on their actual birthday, mommy had to fly to Philadelphia to be a bridesmaid in her good friend Liz's wedding. Once mommy was home, we celebrated with a pizza and trucks themed birthday party with some local friends. Things have been busy since then, and for the most part, their pile of presents has remained unopened. Noah and Micah do not lack in toys or trucks, so we are fine with spacing out the goodies over the next few months.
As has been a pattern in our monthly updates, the boys' separate personalities continue to become apparent. Noah is a fun and goofy boy who is good at solving (basic toddler) puzzles and likes to clean and stack his toys. Micah is our independent and adventurous guy who likes to test his physical prowess and our patience with his limits' pushing.
Both boys have mastered the art of saying "no" and can string together phrases like, "no more agua" and "no more baby seat". They like to say "mommy baby" and "daddy baby" when they want one of us to hold them. They love fire trucks, dump trucks, tractors, backhoes, etc. Their favorite foods are still rice, yogurt, macaroni and cheese, but they're getting better about trying meats and vegetables too. The boys have been going to MyGym classes and getting together with a stable of twin friends multiple times a week. They've discovered the joys of splash pads and the local pool, and I think we'll be frequently both many times this summer.
